We are so excited to finally launch the official kickoff of the Toe-tally Awesome Sock Drive! This whole venture is fueled by a simple idea: Keeping Portland Kind, one cozy foot at a time. It’s been an adventure getting to this point, and we wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes look at the first steps of our grassroots movement.

The "awesome" isn't just in the socks; it's also in the logistics! The past few weeks have been a deep dive into the fascinating world of online fundraising and community organizing. We’ve been learning the ropes of building a toe-tally robust digital platform.

Special shout-out to Givebutter for making the fundraising side so smooth! Getting the donation page set up felt like finding the perfect pair of socks—seamless and exciting. Now, every single dollar donated goes directly toward purchasing new, warm socks for our neighbors in need.

Our Sole Focus: Collaboration and Ideas

Right now, our main goal is to find our community sole-mates! We know that the best projects are built on great ideas and shared experience. That’s why we’re actively researching other amazing organizations and looking for people who want to roll up their sleeves and collaborate.

Whether you're a seasoned non-profit veteran, a community organizer, or just someone bursting with "toe-tally awesome" ideas, we want to hear from you. We’ll be discussing everything from logistics to where the most critical need lies in Portland.
