🧦 Toe-tally Awesome Socks: Join Our Mission to Keep Portland Dry!

  Fall in PORTLAND means ONE THING: the RAIN is back.  


And while we all cozy up, for our NEIGHBORS experiencing HOMELESSNESS, that rain is a CONSTANT, SERIOUS THREAT to their HEALTH.  


Wet, cold FEET can quickly lead to PAINFUL INFECTIONS and FROSTBITE.  


That’s why the SINGLE most REQUESTED—and VITAL—ITEM in the HOMELESS community is CLEAN, DRY SOCKS.  


That’s also WHY we’ve launched the TOE-TALLY AWESOME SOCK DRIVE!  


Our GOAL: WARMTH, DRYNESS, and COMMUNITY.  


Our MISSION is SIMPLE: to COLLECT and DISTRIBUTE enough SOCKS and HYGIENE supplies to make a REAL DIFFERENCE this HOLIDAY SEASON.  


The BIG NUMBER: we aim to RAISE enough MONEY to purchase **$1,000** WORTH of SOCKS.  


Why **$1,000**?  


Because the INCREDIBLE folks at BOMBAS have OFFERED us a 20% DISCOUNT on BULK ORDERS over that amount.  


This means every DOLLAR you DONATE goes EVEN FURTHER!  


The DISTRIBUTION: we are ORGANIZING a SPECIAL COMMUNITY EVENT on THANKSGIVING DAY and the SATURDAY after THANKSGIVING.  


We’ll be HANDING OUT the much-NEEDED SOCKS, along with other ESSENTIAL HYGIENE items, DIRECTLY to those in NEED right here in PORTLAND.

The Saturday SOCK Drops will be hosted 12pm to 4pm at 3611 SE 28th Ave in the Esperanza Court Community Room at the left side of the front Door. Look for posted Signs.
